I'll tell you one problem that I find on the boards. I guess there are some sports fans that look for analysis and want to use the information to pick winners. I wish I had the time to do this; I really do. When I was in school I would come back from class and have lots and lots of free time. Those days are gone for me and I think, for a lot of other people too. I look for sharp handicappers who have winning records. Spare me the conversation; just pick a winner. To those with the time, enjoy. For those like me it's difficult to evaluate talent. To begin you have to only use the line specified in contests. I can accept this. But what about those handicappers who don't enter contests. I rely on opinions that other handicappers write about fellow handicappers. I saw one such article on respected college basketball handicappers. After one season I found one of these handicappers had a decent record. Great analysis, but in the end he couldn't pick winners ATS. I'd love to see a scorecard kept of all handicappers in a specific sport.
